Gressoney-la-Trinite - St. Jean, Italy - ski resort review
The Monterosa Ski area is accessible through both parts of Gressoney, La Trinite and St Jean. While St Jean is located at a driving distance from the lifts, the slopes are right at la Trinite’s lap. St Jean is considered to be the more attractive and spread-out venue, while la Trinite has often been referred to as 'small, pleasant and friendly’, offering good scenery to the villages. With 200 km of runs, Gressoney boasts the best skiing in the Monterosa. The snow is reliable due to high altitudes and machines. The terrain is best suited for intermediates, and the Alagna off-piste is accessible from the spot. Beginners are also offered some good slopes, though poorly linked. Queues are minimal thanks to excellent lifts.
