S. Caterina Valfurva introduction
Santa Caterina Valfurva is a skiing paradise where the hite snow and the blue sky make the winterscene grand. Ski lifts reach an altitude of 2700m, while the slopes have perfect snow cover hanks to the artificial snow covering system, and the season goes from December to April. There is a 10 km. cross-country ski-track through woodlands and marvellous landscape. Santa Caterina is a village mainly for family tourism, with excellent ski schools of alpine skiing and a reference point for cross-country skiing. The Deborah Campagnoni slope was a host of the women’s World Championships in Alpine Ski Races in 2005.
