The village of Capriana, set in the south-eastern end of the Val di Fiemme valley at an altitude of 1001 m, is one of the attractive regions in the Dolomites. A ski resort during the winter, the place has well-tended tracks and a direct access to some 150 km of ski runs. Cavalese is located only 25 km from the spot, offering all the facilities of a major resort. Otherwise, the village has a lively ski scene, and is known for its good children’s care. Capriana abounds in off-snow activities, with many theaters, cinemas and decent nightlife. Accomodation varies from budget to top end, and although the place is relatively young, it has excellent prospects.
