Folgaria is a small historical village which offers good views on the countryside and on Lake Lavarone. The landscape combines wide Alpine terraces and deep valley gorges, with peaks reaching up to 2000 m. During the winter, the resort offers 60 km of slopes, 40 ski lifts and two international cross-country centres – Passo Coe and Millegrobbe, providing ski, snowboard, alpine ski and telemark practice. Off the slopes, there is plenty to do in terms of snowshoes excursions, sledge rides, skating or ice driving. In summer, the visitors can try mountain biking in the local mountain bike school, where the Olympic champion Paola Pezzo teaches, or explore various trekking routes. The resort also offers the regular horse riding, gyms, swimming pools and golf courses.
