General info
Folgaria is a wonderful ski resort and holiday destination that can be reached only within 20 km away from the Brenner motorway exit, in the area of Roveretto North. This place is renowned for the circuit “Skitour dei Forti”, which is connected with the three of seven Austro-Hungarian forts on the Altipiani plateau and represents a territory of over 50 km of slopes. Right in the heart of the Trentino Dolomites, the town of Folgaria offers you an authentic taste of history and wonderful scenery. You will be able to visit the ancient towns of Trento and Roveretto to enjoy the frescoes on the house walls and the charming atmosphere on the streets.

Winter activities
Winter is the season when skiers, snowboarders, ice skaters and others come to explore the ski arena of Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna. Covering over 20 km of ski pistes, the ski routes pass through forests and well-maintained slopes with protected cannons. Newly constructed lifts and modern installations provide an excellent connection to the areas of Ortesino and Fondo Grande. Beginners can enjoy the gentle ski runs at the tree-lined itineraries around the resorts of Folgaria and Costa. For intermediates and advanced skiers there will be a choice of slopes, such as the 72 km of pistes at the “Highlands” terrain, offered as an opportunity with a single ski pass. Your skiing day will be truly exciting at height of over 2000 m, where the panorama is really impressive. At Pass Coe and Fort Cherle you can take advantage of the cross-country territory, including 15 km of trails – an ex venue of the World Master Cup.
