Marilleva refers to a combination of villages located either at the base or up the slope, providing a large scope of ski services and runs access, along with many après ski opportunities. The accommodations at Marilleva comprise of two levels: Marilleva 900, at the valley’s bottom and near the town of Mezzana, and Marilleva 1400, operating the lifts to Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio. A high-speed gondola guarantees the connection between the two venues. The ski area encompasses some 120 km of slopes between the Ortles Cevedale group and Brenta Dolomites. At Marilleva 1400, there is a night skiing stadium, built to host the Half Pipe competition of the Snowboard World Championship in January 1999, while at Marilleva 900 there are skating venues, indoor tennis halls and a sport center in nearby Mezzana. The ski school is reported to be good and organizes torchlight processions and evening races for the visitors. The site also offers plenty of off-snow activities.
