Mazzin di Fassa is situated at an altitude of 1372 meters. This resort includes Campestrin and Fontanazzo. It has the lowest population in Fassa Valley. This resort offers a wide variety of recreational facilities and many hotels and residences, making it the highlight of the Dolomite region. It is well connected to the many ski areas of the valley. Mazzin is especially appropriate for cross-country skiers. A great option in this regard is the Marcialonga track, which passes through the center of the resort. Mazzin boasts an important landmark – the Casa Battei, an aristocratic countryside castle. There is no other like it in the entire valley.
