Mazzin di Fassa is situated in the Fassa Valley, Trentino, Northern Italy at an altitude of 1372 m. It includes Fontanazzo and Campestrin and is the smallest community in the Fassa valley. Due to the great number of residences and hotels, Mazzin has become the main window of the Dolomites and has experienced great progress in opening many new tourist facilities. There is a free ski bus service, which provides quick and easy access to the other large resorts in the Valley: Campitello di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa, Canazei and Moena. This
village suits best to those intermediate skiers who would like to enjoy the famous Marcialonga track, which crosses the centre of Mazzin. The only aristocratic castle in the Fassa Valley, Casa Batei is in Mazzin di Fassa.
