Predazzo, a resort which is often referred to as the “geologic garden of the Alps”, is located at the north-eastern part of the valley, a confluence spot for the Avisio and the Travignolo rivers. The village has 4157 inhabitants and boasts well tended slopes. The resort has a large variety of skiing opportunities, alpine and Nordic, along with well maintained facilities. A highlight is the Ski Center Latemar and Bellamonte – Alpe Lucia. The place provides the visitor with the traditional selection of summer and winter sports suitable for the mountain altitudes.
