Santa Cristina
Santa Cristina is a beautiful resort situated at the altitude of 1428 m in the sunny side of Val Gardena in the Trento Alto Adige region, Northern Italy. It is connected to the Stella Ronda cuircuit and a home to the famous Val Gardena downhill, part of the Dolomiti Supperski pass. It is a nice location both in winter and summer and it has easy access to a number of ski slopes because it is set at the foot of the Monte Pana, Col Raiser, Ciampinoi and Seceda lifts. In 2004 Val Gardena was awarded the title “best ski resort” by the Italian magazine OGGI, the valley was chosen among 60 beautiful Italian ski resorts. Santa Cristina is a modern and traditional resort, a village of contrasts and the perfect place for a winter holiday for skiers, families and nature lovers.

Santa Cristina has skiing connections with Selva. There is pleasant skiing, red and black passes further west from Mont de Seura to the area for beginners on Monte Pana. Now there is a nice connection from the village by an underground train to the bottom of the Ciampinoi gondola to Col Raiser and Seceda. From the top of Seceda there is a single red run, which reaches down to the outskirts of Ortisei and it takes a short walk to get to the Rasciesa lift and its single red. Santa Cristina is lying in Val Gardena, a ski valley with 176 km of pistes, 150 km of which have artficial snow making. 30% of the runs are graded easy, 60% medium and 10% difficult. Santa Christina’s ski school works closely with children, while they learn to ski and have fun. There is a great variety of snow-sure passes, a large number of cleared winter walking trails as well as a wide network of cross-country ski trails.

There are 9 restaurants, 7 night clubs and a public indoor swimming pool in the resort. It offers sports facilities, culinary and cultural highlights, and for those who love a relaxing holiday - peace and quiet.
