Vigo di Fassa, one of the ski resorts situated in the Fassa Valley, offers an excellent choice of ski slopes ranging from beginner to expert. All of them have good snowmaking cover and lifts. The Catinaccio ski area located above Vigo di Fassa has a newly-constructed quad chair with bubble cover, installed on the Pian Pecei-Pra Martin. One of the toughest areas, Pista Ciampac, 3km long and with a 658m vertical, is located in the vicinity. The ski areas are reachable by free ski bus. Vigo di Fassa is part of the the Dolomiti Superski ticket, the world`s largest fully interchangable lift pass, which covers approximately 1200km of trails and 500 lifts above 50 villages.
