Borca di Cadore, located at an altitude of 942 m, is set where the river Boite extends in a wider basin, enclosed by mount Pelmo (3168m) and mount Antelao (3263m) and the Cortina d’Ampezzo mountain chains. During the winter, the place offers direct access to the Cortina d’Ampezzo ski area, located at a ten-minute distance by ski lift. Cross-country skiing is available along the ‘Copes’ and ‘Saco’. Off the slopes, visitors can head to the Borca di Cadore ice skating illuminated rink. In summer, apart form the various possibilities of excursions and mountaineering, the village surroundings offer many countryside cycling paths. The terrain is suitable for mountain bike.
