Winter activities
Winter is the time for skiing adventures in the area of Caviola and around. There are perfect conditions for beginners and intermediates with few slopes suitable for experts, covering a total of 100km of pistes, served by 27 lifts. With a single ski pass you can enjoy the arenas at Falcade-Passo, Valles-San Pelligrino, Alpe di Lusia and Moena-Bellamonte. No worries - the great Dolomiti Superski region is easily reachable and disposes with over 1100 km of ski runs. At altitude of above 2000 m the quality of snow is very good and the snow cover – reliable. A splendid snowpark is foreseen for snowboarders and there is an ice rink for the skating followers.
Summer activities
The village is contoured by some of the most impressive Dolomites summits – Marmolada, Pale di San Martino, Civetta and Pelmo, creating a panorama you will never forget. The area is very attractive for hiking tours and mountain biking – some of the most popular sports practiced in summer. On the bike saddle you can cross through some of the most scenic routes in the region and contemplate the views around the river Biois on the 2 km-long bicycle line. There are charming alpine chalets and refuges to stop by and take a rest after a long and strenuous trekking – take a cup of tea and replenish strengths to continue.

Falcade-Caviola is a very nice opportunity for a ski weekend or a short holiday amongst the nature, since the airport is only within two hours drive away. Activity programs and entertaining evenings will occupy your free time. Shops, restaurants, pizzerias and cafes on the local scene will lure you to you try the local cuisine in a friendly ambience.
