The small village of Misurina is located at the foot of Lavaredo’s "Drei Zinnen" at an altitude of 1756 m. The humidity is extremely low and the climate conditions are perfect to cure asthma. Lift-linked Cortina lies 13 kilometres away. The place is relatively quiet and unspoilt, which makes it suitable for families. Misurina lies in the vicinity of several famous ski areas and itself offers three ski lifts and beginners ski runs. Cross-country skiing and opportunities for experts are also available. The "Drei Zinnen" of Lavaredo are reachable through piste caterpillar, which can be rented in Misurina. Off snow, there are many hiking tracks, or recreation activities such as solariums. Shopping in Cortina is also an option.
